On 18 May 2024, the management team of the NMDC commenced a two-week visit to the United States where they were joined by two members of the NMDC Board of Advisors. The purpose of the visit was to meet the LDS Charities and the Stirling Foundation, and update them about the progress of the centre's work. We had the honor of meeting with many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and visiting many significant and beautiful places in Utah. Meeting with the College of Nursing at the University of Utah and other health, education, and humanitarian organizations opened the doors for future collaboration for advancing nursing and midwifery in the Kurdistan Region.
Our visit was made very special by the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Russell M. Nelson who mentioned collaboration with the NMDC in his Mother's Day online post. We are grateful for the wonderful hospitality, kindness, and support of all we met.

سەردانی NMDC بۆ ویلایەتە یەکگرتووەکانی ئەمریکا
لە 18ی ئایاری 2024، تیمی بەڕێوەبردنی NMDC دەستیان کرد بە سەردانێکی دوو هەفتەیی بۆ ویلایەتە یەکگرتووەکانی ئەمریکا و لەوێ دوو ئەندامانی دەستەی ڕاوێژکارانی NMDC بەشدارییان پێوە کرد. ئامانجی سەردانەکە ئەوە بوو کە لەگەڵ LDS Charities و The Stirling Foundation کۆببنەوە و لەبارەی پێشکەوتنی کارەکانی ناوەندەکەوە ئاگاداریان بکەنەوە. ئێمە شانازیمان هەبوو کە لەگەڵ چەندین ئەندامی The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints کۆببینەوە و سەردانی چەندین شوێنی گرنگ و جوانمان کرد لە ویلایەتی یوتا. کۆبوونەوە لەگەڵ کۆلێژی پەرستاری لە زانکۆی یوتا و ڕێکخراوەکانی دیکەی تەندروستی و پەروەردەیی و مرۆیی دەرگای هاوکاری بۆ داهاتوو کردەوە بۆ بەرەوپێشبردنی پەرستاری و مامانی لە هەرێمی کوردستان. سەردانەکەی ئێمە زۆر تایبەت بوو لەلایەن سەرۆکی The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints بەڕێز (Russell M. Nelson) کە لە پۆستەکەیدا لە ڕۆژی دایکاندا ئاماژەی بە هاوکاری لەگەڵ NMDC کرد. سوپاسی ئەو میواندارییە سەرسوڕهێنەرە و میهرەبانانە و پشتیوانکارانەی هەموو ئەو کەسانە دەکەین کە بینیومانە.
