NMDC Celebrates International Nurses Day 2025 with Launch of Kurdistan Nursing & Midwifery Awards

On the occasion of International Nurses Day, the Nursing & Midwifery Development Centre (NMDC), in collaboration with the Syndicate of Health Workers and the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, hosted a special event to honour the contributions of nurses and midwives across the region.

The celebration, held at NMDC, was attended by representatives of the organizing bodies, distinguished guests, and nurses and midwives from all over the Kurdistan Region. A key highlight of the event was the launch of the Kurdistan Nursing & Midwifery Awards—the first annual initiative dedicated to recognizing and celebrating excellence in nursing and midwifery practice, education, research, and leadership.

This landmark event acknowledged the critical role nurses and midwives play in delivering quality healthcare, and reaffirmed the collective commitment to support, empower, and elevate the professions within the health system.

NMDC congratulates all participants and award recipients, and looks forward to continuing this annual tradition of recognition and appreciation.

سەنتەری پەرەپێدانی پەرستاری و مامانی ڕۆژی جیهانی پەرستارانی ٢٠٢٥ ئاهەنگ دەگێڕێت لەگەڵ دەستپێکردنی خەڵاتەکانی پەرستاری و مامانی کوردستان

بە بۆنەی ڕۆژی جیهانی پەرستارانەوە، سەنتەری پەرەپێدانی پەرستاری و مامانی (NMDC)، بە هاوکاری دەستەی باڵای سەندیکای کارمەندانی تەندروستی و وەزارەتی تەندروستی حکوومەتی هەرێمی کوردستان، هەڵسان بە ڕێکخستنی بۆنەیەکی تایبەت بوو بۆ ڕێزگرتن لە پەرستاران و مامانەکانی سەرانسەری هەرێمی کوردستان.

ئاهەنگەکە کە لە NMDC بەڕێوەچوو، ئامادەبووان پێکهاتبوون لە نوێنەرانی ڕێکخەر، میوانە بەڕێزەکان (بەرپرسانی حکومی و ڕێکخراوە ناحکومیەکان)، و پەرستاران و مامانەکانی سەرانسەری هەرێمی کوردستان. خاڵی گرنگی ئەم بۆنەیە دەستپێکردنی خەڵاتەکانی پەرستاری و مامانی کوردستان بوو—یەکەم دەستپێشخەری ساڵانە کە تەرخان کراوە بۆ ناسینەوە و ڕێزلێنان لە باشترین لە بوارەکانی پراکتیکی پەرستاری و مامانی، پەروەردە، توێژینەوە، و سەرکردایەتی.

ئەم بۆنە مێژوویە ڕۆڵی گرنگی پەرستاران و مامانەکان لە پێشکەشکردنی چاودێری تەندروستی بە کوالیتی، و پابەندبوونی بە کۆمەڵ بۆ پشتگیری، بەهێزکردن، و بەرزکردنەوەی پیشەکان لەناو سیستەمی تەندروستیدا.
