International Midwives Day

International Day of Midwives was celebrated in the Nursing & Midwifery Development Centre by capacity building of nurses and midwives from the whole Kurdistan Region (5-9 May 2024). 18 Trainers and 27 providers benefited from the expertise of the master trainers Mai Anh Doan, and  Doug Richards from the USA. The participants learned how to manage bleeding after birth which is one of the main causes of maternal morbidity and mortality in the region. We are grateful to the LDS Charities and their maternal and child health technical specialists Debra & Steve Whipples for their support. We provided the trainers with essential equipment and teaching materials to continue the training in their healthcare facilities. They were an amazing group of learners and pledged our continuing support for all of them. Happy International Midwives Day.

ڕۆژی جیهانی مامانەکان

ڕۆژی جیهانی مامانەکان لە سەنتەری پەرەپێدانی پەرستاری و مامانی بە تواناسازی پەرستاران و مامانەکان لە سەرانسەری هەرێمی کوردستان (5-9 ئایاری 2024) پیرۆزکرا. 18 ڕاهێنەر و 27 دابینکەر سوودمەند بوون لە لێهاتوویی ڕاهێنەرە سەرەکییەکان د. مای ئان دۆن و د. دەگ ڕیچاردس لە ئەمریکا. بەشداربووان فێری چۆنیەتی بەڕێوەبردنی خوێنبەربوونی دوای منداڵبوون بوون کە یەکێکە لە هۆکارە سەرەکییەکانی نەخۆشی و مردنی دایکان لە ناوچەکەدا. ئێمە سوپاسی ڕێکخراوی خێرخوازی  LDS و پسپۆڕانی تەکنیکی تەندروستی دایکان و منداڵان لە ڕێکخراوی ناوبراو بەڕێزان ستیڤ و دێبرا ویپڵس دەکەین بۆ پشتیوانییان. وە لە کۆتایی خولەکە ئامێرەکانی پێویست و کەرەستەکانی فێرکردنمان پێشکەش بە ڕاهێنەران کرد بۆ بەردەوام بوون لە ڕاهێنان لە شوێنەکانی چاودێری تەندروستییان. ئەوان گروپێکی فێرخوازی سەرسوڕهێنەر بوون و بەڵێنی بەردەوامی پشتیوانیمان بۆ هەموو ئەوان دەربڕی. ڕۆژی جیهانی مامانەکان پیرۆزبێت.
